Weirdly I have no problems with the safety vest. I just cracked mine open to see if it fits. It's actually pretty cool. I'm wearing it as I type this.
Although I'll be embarrassed in PACV by how clean and bright it is. Maybe I'll leave it outside for a couple weeks before I put it in the flight bag.

Roll it around in some oil on the ramp. You’ll fit right in.
