Correct. Fences and circles are a way to prevent mass training events and mass displacements during bids.

It protects all current CA positions especially the Junior in those positions. The number 1 Legacy AS CA could not displace the most Junior circled WB CA and a 25 year NB FO could not displace even the most Junior circled NB CA in a displacement.

Correct. PI just does what he's told. It IS the BOD at "holdings" that calls all of the shots. THEY set direction for the board at HA Actual. The retired pilot on the board is actually there to help us, but he's only one voice. He's consistently outvoted. His input is "noted and logged". This debacle is 1000% the fault of the Board of Directors at holdings.

Again, I'm completely dumbfounded that the shareholders haven't demanded a change before it was too late. It truly was the definition of insanity. Keep doing the same thing, and hope for a different result. As I was alluding to earlier, the only true fix was for us at this point was to get bought out. That that takes HA "Holdings" out of the process.

Default Date of intent or date of closing?

I had read something a few months ago that indicated fences would not include those who started after date of intent for the acquisition (12/3/2023). Does anyone have any real knowledge or a document to cite that would indicate if that is correct or if protections would look at date of closing?

More worried about being displaced off a fleet more than anything else.

Thanks.

Again, you use the word "circled" like it's common language, what the h3ll are you talking about?

There will be no FO fencing, it doesn’t work that way. You will be fine, don’t worry about getting displaced off any fleet. By the time this all settles, a lot will have changed, to include any and all of your anxieties. This is a marathon my friend.

Well, it’s honestly pretty common. You will become an expert on mergers over the next 18 months. Right now everything will be a big deal, in 24 months you will look back and be embarrassed you wasted any thought on it. HAL’s MEC will retain the best lawyer they can, he will do his best to get you the best possible deal, an arbiter will decide your fate.

What’s your pilot group at size wise? HAL is at 1184 as of 07/26.

multiply 1184 by 3 and you will get the exact size of Alaska
