Alaska closed on the February 2016 deal in December of 2016… And yes in the very early stages, in 2016, AS considered closing SFO. It would not have closed however, until January of 2018 though. But yeah according to you Alaska bought VX in 2018… yes, you are clueless! 🙄🙄🙄
*Closed* the deal in April-ish 2017.

ALK -0.39%decrease; red down pointing triangle said it closed its $2.6 billion acquisition of Virgin America Inc. on Wednesday, December 14th, eight days after the Justice Department approved the deal with minor concessions. It raised about $2 billion in financing to fund the purchase and used cash for the balance.

CVG, I don’t know, I hope it’s there, kinda been a weird paper trail there of late. 50/50 right now

Welcome to the party yall. Since 2017 we’ve gone from “Most West Coast” to, “We’re probably gonna close SFO”, to we’re refurbishing the SFO Alaska lounge, back to Most West Coast 2.0, but also, no more LAX - JFK., and now back to 60% gonna shut down SFO.
Best advice I can give is get a good side hustle, or a good hobby or two, come to work, collect the check, and just barely pay attention to the tea leaves. You’ll have more fun, make decent coin, and live a longer life. Seriously. This place is more unpredictable than picking the Powerball numbers. It changes by the minute.

Look at the make up of managment pilots and instructors. The majority of them are all from the same squadron. Talk about rocks and glass houses.... calling the SFO pilots the worst. LOL.
