You've only had one job your entire life. Flying frozen fish in a 737. Your airline experience is actually very limited.

You don't realize the disruption a base closure would cause or the exodus it would create.

They won't even displace because of the aftershocks, but they'll close a base?

This has to be a troll. You got me. Well done.

I think most of the fish that we fly is fresh. The frozen stuff is mostly put on freezer ships.

Replace it with a new base? Where pilots want to live, and other airlines don't have a base? I can think of a couple candidates...

So about those DoJ meetings in DC…HAs stock price doesn’t seem to be trending towards an approval…

I don’t have any new info, but I would expect HA stock to go downwards until we have a firm approval. On a side note, all of the different airline stocks are down today (with the exception of ALK)…

Can confirm. They might be reducing ANC by 25 FOs, or they might not. They might be closing SFO, or they might not. But an LCA wouldn't know one way or t'other. And the people who do actually know, don't, because it could change 20 times before it's actually implemented (or not).

Otherwise, happy trolling. Carry on.

Close SFO, it’s the right thing to do,
much better purity lines for all the other bases and/or it would open the door to a SAN base much sooner!
Let’s get it done…….

so Alaska had a sfo base in 2016?
Alaska closed on the February 2016 deal in December of 2016… And yes in the very early stages, in 2016, AS considered closing SFO. It would not have closed however, until January of 2018 though. But yeah according to you Alaska bought VX in 2018… yes, you are clueless! 🙄🙄🙄

If I had to bet right now on what I know today… Alaska bases in 2027 would be ANC, SEA, PDX, LAX, SAN, and HNL
Right now 100 percent best guess.
