So much anger. Delta gets 337 this year Sept 1, you get 318. Maybe more if 2 of the 3 AA/SW/UA sign new contracts. If not, it’ll be Delta 337, JetBlue 330, and Alaska 318. While the others are stuck at 285-300. But please, let’s complain about this contract. Apparently the 18% still need to vent.

It has never been about pay rates for me. The QOL has not risen much, if at all with this contract. I still spend way too much time away from home. Still too many early shows with late returns. Still not home as much as I was at VX. QOL is everything to me and I don’t have it still at AS.

I don’t drink.

I just don’t get the anger. First we protested and yelled at the delays, delays, delays by mgt. Now we are angry because we went first and “didn’t realize” that $337 was the new rate.

There’s no making the 18% happy. They will spend the rest of their lives opening others’ Sec 3, page 1, and losing their marbles over it. Don’t ever find happiness, just be miserable at the others have? Not a good way to go about, but I guess to each their own.

PBS should fix this, you’ll be able to desire/avoid pairings. Just far away (12 mos) but one day

$337 is only for some fleets it’s $349 for those on the NEO now add in the DC and PS and it’s a considerable difference. Nobody made Alaska go first that’s what the group accepted but hey I’m sure mgmt will come back any day now and renegotiate a new rate. We get it shy you like being average.

Calm down captain happy. Their DC is the same for the next year. We will most likely snap to 17 same time they do. They go to 18 at DOS +3 AFTER our contract is ammendable. Also our PS has smoked everybody last 3 years.

Maths hard bud I get it… Delta has consistently been $20/hr more than AS. Add in the additional DC, ADG and PS and it’s still higher earnings with better QOL.

Ok. So why are you surprised now if Delta has been consistently $20 more? Sounds like an outcome you counted on.

Only in 18% land does AS pay equal Delta pay. If AS got 337, no way would Delta have settled for anything less than 357. And then the 18% would still be mad they “only” got 337. The numbers are all arbitrary at this point. The anger is not getting Delta pay. Not sure why that was thought as expected.
