I didn't see a WOCL override?
Vacation at 3:45/day isn't much of an improvement, tbh.
Reserves are now "required to check their schedule" when they get back to base?? What?? So now we have to help this company @@@@ us? Why are we giving up ANY of the control we have over our lives?
).
I read the reserve rules and after several years of bs I'm looking forward to calendar days off which I can't be assigned into. The way I read it is I won't have start before 2 on my first day too. Way the hell better if you ask me.
As far as checking my schedule, it's better than them sending an acars that I never get then trying to ding me for not responding.

Take us to the moon dude, I am pretty sure you guys are gonna sign for around $325 this spring… I am pretty smart, check back in 6 months and laugh at me… I am pretty sure the exact numbers UAL, DAL, AAL, and SWA I have seen, you see NC and MECs are sharing… Good luck with your reality though. Please check back 😉

Lol and yet no one I know of knows of this text. You're numbers aren't representative of the sentiment here, on Alyeska, or any of the group chats I'm on.

Lots of good things in here but is it the once-in-a-career contract we would be swinging for in this unprecedented pilot market? No.
As a 6 year FO, I should be getting in the ballpark of $~55k of retro back to 4/1/2020. A $22k bonus isn't even close.

Overall, at first glance of the summary, it's not terrible. It's collectively a big improvement over status quo but that barely means anything given the garbage under which we currently work. It basically reaches the industry bar in some areas (not all), and raises it in none.
We can do better. And they owe me a hell of a lot more than $22k for the shenanigans they've pulled for the last 2.5 years (not even counting the slope they never negotiated following the JCBA).

The bonus is not even close. This is our chance for an amazing contract and this one just finally brings us up to “not bad”. Everyone has been working under a terrible contract for so long that a just “ok” one looks like the f-ing lottery. If our first year FO pay is the same as regional first year FO pay then we have a big problem. Does Alaska expect regional captains making $200/hr to come here for half the pay and worse quality of life? This contract probably won’t keep FOs here let alone draw new pilots here.

I think a WOCL override would help.
PBS means day-for-day vacation trading is not as useful, which is fine since with PBS it should be easier to get those individual days off that you need. I feel like for the massive gain the company will gain on PBS utilization and staffing that our other gains are pretty meager.
Nothing is above industry standard, and even the 401k contribution proposed is only raising us up to what other airlines have had for years.
I think more days off for reserve would help. The lower RAP window is better than before, but was hoping for more like a 10 hour RAP. 3 hour call out would have helped since every base is in a major metropolitan area.
Also not sure why we would once again limit the amount that premium pay can go up.. we don't need a defined ceiling in the contract that prevents us from making money. If the company wants to cap it at 200% for three months a year, that's on them.. but it shouldn't be in writing. We saw other airlines offering what was it.. 300% pay for the month of December?
I could go on, but will wrap it up there.

So this is what APA says they are asking for, it’s what we are asking for, what UA and DA are asking for, yet so many of you are so disconnected or ignorant you think there is some super deal coming. Look closely at those numbers below, that’s the industry! Eyes wide open, a lot of you are clueless!
278 + 10% = $305 DOS
+5% = $321 2023
+5% = $337 2024
When did I write this? How many times did I say 305? I gave you all the pay, the date, told you the concepts and improvements in the contract… you all laughed at me. I know, I am clueless… keep laughing!
I know, I know UAL isn’t interested in us, I am a fool. SWA didn’t make an offer for us, B6 wasn’t interested in merging with us! I just make 💩 up. 🤔
You know what’s weird, company want the contract ratified by November 1st… it’s probably because it’s my birthday 🙄
