I recognize a con for what it is.
All these CEOs are on the news trying to get a run on the banks right before election time. They're hedged for it and probably stand to make a lot of money because of it.
It's like they all watched the movie Sneakers and took notes.

I learned ages ago not to put any weight on a rumor. I'm sure AA mgmt is running the same play as AS. The threat of doom and gloom seems to be working it's magic. I don't expect it to be a very good for the pilots at AA. How they react to it will be very important.

And the only reason Covid wasn’t a disaster is because this country printed trillions with a T and gave payroll support programs to airline employees so they could still get a paycheck. You know what other airlines did throughout the world? Furloughed en masse.
Now it’s all catching up to us. You can’t introduce trillions into the market and not expect inflation. This was years in the making, but Covid and our reaction to it lit the fuse.

Aal rumored TA details make our CBA look great. Assuming the rumors are true. Our MEC nailed the rollout of TA details. Others should have been taking notes.

Forget Musk. 2 things can be true at once. Inflation and a recession. Consistently high prices and a slowing economy. Have you looked up stagflation in past times? These aren’t good things.

Given a choice between Musk and Bezos opinions and FlyPRDU’s on the economy and business forecast, hands down and twice on Sundays, I’m going with FlyPRDU….. I mean… he’s a 737 Cpt at Alaska and graduated from Purdue! Their resumes don’t hold a candle to that!
