Also, on page 4 of the summary they repeat the retro paragraph with the only difference being the word (two-month). If that is the level of scrutiny the contract language was written with we are in trouble.
Really😂… it is 2 month retro… September and October

Default Holiday Pay

Quick guide says: "Six days of Holiday Pay of five hours"
Executive summary says: "pay of five hours (above guarantee)"

Again, not inspiring a lot of confidence.

Yes, read the TA cover to cover several times, attend road shows, listen to podcasts, have cordial discussions in the cockpit, and ask questions. The last two TA road shows (‘09 & ‘13) reminded me of your average commander’s calls. The CCs were smooth-articulate talkers but presented no real substance, at least that was my take away. I’m sure our current MEC and negotiators are big improvements compared to the predecessors. Objective preferred with little to no subjective matters, please.

Its two month because the reach back is this current month and next month October will take your individual pay and times that by the hourly difference. The "retro" as a whole is CA 3,000/month times 11 months (Oct 21 to August 22) for 33k plus whatever the two month total reach back equals. If that two month period equals 9k, your total would be 33k + 9k = 42K

Yeah why is it repeated? Someone wasn't paying attention.

Yup , the difference between a RSV and a line holder. Any college graduates out there 🤔
That means line holders and RSVs get holiday pay

Outsider looking in (Spirit), and I will say I was VERY skeptical about the transition to PBS (implementation was early-mid 2019). We use NavBlue (as does Delta, and I believe JetBlue & Hawaiian??). Anywho, when it comes to vacation, it is a pre-award which is fantastic as we can slide our week (+/- 3 days) on top of holidays and the company can’t do sh*t about it as the staffing isn’t set until pre-awards are completed. I’m 52% in category and used 1 bid week, only 28 credit hours (we can use between 12-36 hours, our accrual is 28/week), and I had 20 consecutive days off….

PBS isn’t bad once you understand how the logic works…

So do you get six days of 5 hours? (30) or just 5 hours?

There are 6 Holidays that will pay (only) an extra 5 hours if your trip touches any part of that calendar day even by 1 minute. Either line holder or rsv

A line holder gets 5 and a RSV gets 5 above guarantee. You get that 6 times a year if you work a holiday
30 a year if you work them all. I mow lawns so I don’t have to work holidays 😂
