I think the top CA scale is a reference for all payscales, since they are based on that. Same at other majors.
If you leave Brand X for Brand A because of a higher TOS, you know you'll get the benefit of that over the course of your whole career, you don't have to wait to reach 12 year CA status.

I'm not surprised OUR slope is fixed. I was surprised when somebody showed me what JB/Spirit/Allegiant have. Sept 24' 2nd yr fo pay will be 173/hr. Go compare that to anybody not in the big 3.

Yeah I helped get a longer term SkyWest captain hired. His pay will only be an issue for year 1.

I think there might be a few new hire classes between now and the effective date of the next bid. Which will apparently open next week? I could be wrong though.

No reductions, no displacements
if a bid is published without reductions, then no one can displace anyone out of a base. If you’re the plug, people can come into base, but only if vacancies are open there. Your spot is safe.
