That much is plausible, more west coast domestic to complement their international (and maybe replace dying regional airlines). Probably going to need a WH administration to the right of Attila the Hun to get the right DOJ.

We talked with HA, UA came and talked to us and got DOJ’d. WN stoped by poked around, BOD made a bankruptcy bid for AS. AS is still patiently waiting to hear back on something civil with HA. I don’t know if it’s exact, but I think it’s really really close😉 The new chatter begins to suggest that maybe HA has become agreeable to a deal.

I’ll highlight the finer points to your post in bold for the new readers.

Does anyone actually think any upper management in the know on future mergers would open their mouth to a line pilot or a retired pilot to share what's going on? There are NDAs involved in that kind of thing. Those who know, don't talk; and those who talk, don't know.

March 2016, CEO Cush came into our recurrent ground school and was asked about mergers and said nothing of the sort. 3 weeks later, Alaska bought VX Apr 4, 2016. And as it turned out in SEC filings, the merger game had started late 2015.

So they took away 34 Vacancies from SFO. I thought we were doing EXPLOSIVE growth in SFO.

they do that at the end of almost every position bid when they are about to launch another, they’ll add those vaccines back in the next bid. Why they do that I don’t know. seems like so much work. But then again we still sort position bids by hand instead of using software

logic = 404 error not found here

Pretty sure they are using an electronic process now. That’s why the bid results transactions look different than they have in the past.
