And to be fair, credit to the company - even though this move is to try to stem attrition, attract newhires, remain competitive with the industry. They still stepped up to the plate to do the right thing.

The company stepped up, and the pay rates are in line with your peers. This should stop attrition to a grinding halt. But to be honest, a good lot of you will put on your Costco pants, Aldo shoes and Up and Up jackets and tell your FOs tomorrow to go to another airline.

So now we got 340 plus profit sharing that blows HA and JB out of the water… but not for the angry 30, it’s to hard for them. 340hr plus likely 7.8% profit sharing = 367hr. How about being nice and welcoming towards the new guys. They will really have a wonderful career here at Alaska Airlines. It’s a great company to work for. GROW UP!

Nobody’s gloating. Like the other thread pointed out, maybe people not only at this airline but at other airlines too, are sick and tired of the constant negativity. You people **** on Cush, Frances, Weatherly, Forte, Tilden and even your own union. If anyone even breathes or whimpers a sign of optimism, you all make sure to them feel stupider and beneath you.

Happy to see the AK pilots get to market rate nontheless. Congrats!
