The avg math with 4 carriers counting and not counting Southwest puts it at ~327. But like OTZ says, I wouldn’t be surprised to see $330. Maybe $2-3 more. $340 is highly unlikely.
This is the dumbest take you have. And you've repeated it several times.

YEAR DOES NOT MATTER. Only you care about year. The contracts are 4 months apart. They will be both be on TOS+1. It is apples to apples.

Tell me honestly, do you really believe the bullsh*t that you shovel on here, or is it all about winning internet points?

Entertainment dude…. We have the angry, bitter 30 on here telling us for years, they were the smartest, best looking, strongest.. and they were in charge now. They were gonna show us how to hold the companies feet to the fire, they would never compromise and they had complete control. They laughed about how long Alaska has been around, but what a pathetic union we had been that whole time. This was their watch, their first watch, and they would easily fix everything.

I think it’s a pretty awesome pilot group for the most part. I feel like everyone has my back, I am confident I have theirs. It’s just the whinny drivel from the angry 30 that give me the most angst. They hate everything, including themselves, their unhappiness rots their souls.😉
And yes, the HA merger has more legs than anyone on here gives me credit.
And no you can keep the black shoes with the sole rot.😂

We will have to switch to brown shoes soon. So maybe we can all ditch our sole rot in near future.

Fortunately, we will have the option of not switching.

An angry, bitter middle-to-upper aged man on the internet is not a good look.

Delta's *new* 2024 payrate comes Jan 1 and Alaska's *new* 2024 payrate comes Sept 1 which is a simple byproduct of signing a contract Nov 2022 versus March 2023.

Our resident fool is here to tell us how it is. You are forever lost. Your non-answer regarding your intentions tells me everything I need to know. You're a troll, and you're here to incite reactions.

You've admitted that you want to see no snap happen just so you can enjoy the outrage. This is troll behavior. And you're not worth my time anymore.

To the blocked list you go.

Did you really expect me to answer the question given the manner and tone which you asked it?

Wait you can't see this anymore. Oh well.

Upper aged is a new term to me. I'm guessing he's a guy 35-45 with 10+ years here like you and me with the "golden cuffs" on that you so eloquently talk about.

There's nothing wrong with people pointing out the flaws in Union, the Company and the contract in hopes we don't make the same mistake twice and can be better.
That said, I did appreciate your latest reply of "Sounds like you should get your apps to AA, DL, or UA pronto." I can usually tell when the other guy doesn't have a leg to stand on when he says If you don't like it, then you can leave.

Not withstanding the hypocrisy of your "golden cuffs" statement in the past, how about I actually stay here, keep my seniority and fight to make this place better and be paid and treated the same as my peers who most of, if not all arguably, have a worse financial balance sheet than us.

As far as pay rates, I really hope you're not that naive to think the timing of DL,AA, UA, and WN contract signings are somehow an argument that we were paid more during the time we signed first or that "new" rates are a byproduct of when the contract was signed. The fact is every one of the airlines mentioned do or will have backpay/retro that more than eclipses our $306 after we got it. The most obvious fact is what happens early next year when all the TRUE snap ups take place and everyone will be reset to $360+- irregardless of when they actually signed.

That will be the market rate however you want to spin months or years and make it seem like it's not so bad or a product of contract timing. Hopefully it's so bad a difference that the Company realizes it's in their best interests to go above the CBA rates to grow like they want. Either way, hopefully we don't go down this road again being at the mercy of the Company to stay within 10% of our peers next time around

Right? So do you not see Sept 1 2024 being $350-355? Depending on what Southwest gets, but assuming they're near the big 3, do you not see within a couple bucks of the big 5 airlines?

Which is why we're probably (?) getting more than $318 this Sept 1. How else do you get 600 newhires next year, if they can't match at least jetBlue - which is $330.

If I had to bet, I'd think 330 or maybe a few bucks more if they wanted a leg up on the competition, but not $340 like DAL/UA/AA. Just a guess. Time will tell! Only 13 days left.
