Magic would be going back in time and having the NC not drop the ball, and rewrite this awful snap up language. After all, we were told repeatedly that what’s happening now, wouldn’t happen to us ever again. Reopening negotiations needs to be highly considered within the union after this lackluster contract that was supposed to keep us in line with our peers. Spoiler alert: it’s not. And 787’s aren’t coming 🤣

Your management is basically saying without using words that you are not as good as your peers and not worth what they are worth for doing the exact same job. Get what you guys deserve to be paid and nothing less. These airlines are basically printing $ these days and the talks of the looming recession have all but vanished with the latest economic data so I don't see how any airline can use that excuse anymore either!

Alaska, being one of the most financially sound airlines out there these days, clearly has the money to pay you guys the snap up and it is clearly fully budgeted for already based on your new contract. How they can justify not giving you guys a solid pay bump now the bar has been set by DL/UA and even AA is a mystery to me
Nothing the pilots can do about it, besides quit and go to UA as DEC

Although since AA apparently just matched the UA AIP, who knows, maybe they'll pony up for retention purposes since as you say they must have budgeted for it.

3 year extension to our current contract, rate only improvements. $343 5,4,4,3. Voting on deal in September.
First 787 late 2023. It will come first in Hawaiian colors 😂.
AS seems eager to buy and relaunch an iconic airline brand, keeping the tails of both airlines statehood heritages.

Alaska won’t be buying anyone. Let alone Hawaiian. This is just downright funny. This place can’t even staff what they already have, let alone buy Hawaiian who’s in the same sinking boat. Thanks for the laughs though.
Let’s recount quick. First Southwest, then United, a possibility of American, and now Hawaiian. Throw in Delta at least just to round it out!
