[QUOTE=NotTellin;3668717]4. Market Rate Adjustment: On September 1, 2023 and September 1, 2024,
Pilots will receive the higher of the following:
a. the pay increases described above, or
b. the pay achieved by applying the slope in the tables above to the average of
the following top of scale Captain rates: United (737-MAX 8/9), American
(Group II), Delta (737-900), Southwest (multiplied by 1.149 to account for
TFP), and JetBlue (A320/321).
It’s too bad only JetBlue was included in this statement:
Exception: JetBlue will only be included in the average if a new agreement on pay rates is in place.

well, maybe we can look into helping solve the problem. Since you are so certain we are not getting a raise maybe we should tell the company only to give the raise to yes voters. Saves them a bit of money and you don’t seem to want it.
what’s the average going to be when SWA gets wide body pay their “No voters” are demanding?

If SWA get a pay raise it still depends on what AA votes in and what UA votes in to determine the average. Because, it’s an average. Really not trying to make you mad. Just pointing out that our snap, or market rate adjustment or whatever you’d like to call it is based on an average.

At a relatively junior 24 years I thought I should check with senior pilots. Has not ever happened in the 40 years that I researched but yes you are right as usual. In the adult world, having a tantrum because you failed to get your way would be considered immature and childish. I work under a negotiated and signed contract. I would prefer that the contract be followed. By both sides. Always

Makes sense to me... Eskimo isn't giving out a free raise because "spirit" of the agreement, that's not in their nature, and I wouldn't expect them to.
Remotely possible if they think it will make an impact on staffing, but I doubt it will and they'd probably rather stagnate/shrink for a few years than give pilots free money.

Again makes no sense. You angry bunch sit on here and complain non stop about ‘being behind’, the Alaska discount, and crying on each others shoulders. When anyone brings up goods things or new things to ask for, 9Mike says naw, stick to the the contract on both sides, no thanks.
Ridiculous…

Very true. The flood gates are back open with all the new proposed contracts. Whatever they can do to stop the bleeding, they will. Remember the Southwest merger that was a done deal? Then it was United. All convenient timing. Nothing came to fruition. Just like these 787’s and this “magic.”

1. This means on 2 dates and 2 dates only they take a snapshot of rates at the listed carriers. That snapshot picture will be of the rates in effect on those dates only. I shouldn’t have to explain that if they do not have ratified and in effect contract rates on those dates, then they will be averaging the old rates. Thus we will not see a raise above the contractual $318.
2. It was 82 % not 89%
3. ALA5KA would never pay for actual pixie dust.
