Maybe I'm getting lazy, but yeah I'd like some right seat time before flying to somewhere in Alaska in a blizzard, barely off high mins with a new hire in the right seat.

The voluntary downgrades are likely to stay in LA. Likely due to family or commuting concerns. A big hit for the family budget. Certainly not a win by any means. Sorry that happened to you.

Hello folks, over on the JB section we are trying to define what “pre-merger equities” are and if that snapshot date was important for SLI purposes, or was the Constructive Notice Date the one used for status/category lists? Thanks for the help

Don’t overthink it and don’t try to guess at it. The NK/B6 SLI will be fairly straightforward.

Hypothetically anything you think that YOU have, that the other guys don't, which has some tangible value to both parties. Typically stuff like specific fleets, especially if they pay more (ie WBs). That's the biggy and is probably not applicable to B6/NK.
You could claim your specific domiciles, but I don't recall any domicile fences in the AS/VX merger. Not sure if that would fly since it's a bit intangible (unlike WB pay scales). Also if the merged company might be planning to slash and burn domiciles anyway, it would be problematic fence people out of the remaining ones.
I don't recall any fleet fences either, since it was all similar NB and payscales were set to be the same. I guess you guys could do something with 190/220s but that's kind of backwards, don't usually need to protect lower-paying fleets. Maybe the NK people would want protection against being displaced to those

Ascend program vs other schools
Hello,
I am planning on starting my aviation journey the first of 2024 but and curious about the ascend program in Hillsboro Oregon. I have been trying to do research of different schools and such but when it comes to the ascend program there isn’t much information on it when it comes to honest opinions. I know it is a fairly new school but was curious if anybody has any personal experience or knows anyone with experience in the program.
With that comparing to ATP school some positives and negatives taking that route.
Thank you, looking forward to so help and responses.
