Most likely irrelevant. Because if he works the system as I do, there's hardly a time I do a trip on my original line. Grabs, swaps, and drops to maximize credit/day.

Seriously cheesy early ‘80s throwback! The opening sequence weirdly reminiscent of the opening of the original “Terminator!”

I'm not giving secrets away if you're senior to me

Jan-June credit / 6 mos = 107 monthly avg. Not flying on vacation days, time off needed to see family on the east coast, take vacations, etc.

showing your schedule doesn’t show how you got it

At most airlines, you have to work the system to maximize your income. You can also work towards improving your money / time off balance.

But it takes work. Much easier if you have no obligations on your days off (like family). Also helps to live in base so you can grab whatever, whenever.

Not unique to AS by any means.

This is still bewildering concept for a lot of folks to grasp. Lol.

You both have misunderstood our skepticism. ShyGuy and OTZ constantly boast of their amazing schedules and high credit, while the rest of us are left scratching our heads. Shy has a history of putting his thumb on the scales in his favor when making a case. Such as counting days off that aren't really days off. OTZ, on the other hand, is a pathological liar.

So not to doubt that what they're claiming is possible, but we simply ask the braggarts to show proof. To put up or shut up.

You can argue about days on and days off, I think it's abundantly clear that the AS contract is written as a live-in-base contract. I don't get used for 5 days of reserve and was sitting around anyway, then yes on the 5 days off, I'll pick up a 3-day trip. Why not? You can clearly make the point that in that 10 day stretch you were "only off for 2 days." Sure. But I'm not counting any days on vs off. From a home perspective, there's days at home and days away while flying. Ultimately, the wife/kids only care about the days I'm not at home (flying away). So to them, while I was reserve and not on a day off, I was home - which is ultimately what really counts. I get it, you don't like that metric. You can't make money on reserve unless you pick up on days off. Unlike other legacy airlines, you CAN pick up straight open time for extra pay. You can scratch your head but there are people here clearing 100+ credit every month as reserve and lineholders. Living in base, spouse with work flexibility, and good staffing that allows you to move days around = formula for making bank.

To each their own.
