Yeah SFO junior.

The bus pilots are mostly quite senior and most can displace in any base they want. However... many followed the bus, even some who live in the bay. Once the bus is gone, some will go back to the bay. Many others commute and will pick the best base for that... often LAX, but could be SEA or SFO for some. The later two have better public transportation and the bay has multiple large airports interconnected by trains.

My QOL was MUCH better prior to ending up at AS. Not sure why that ****es you off so much.
Been at AS 20+ years… hasn’t been perfect but looking back it’s been a really good ride. I have an unbelievable schedule, fly great trips when I want, get any day I want off. I have friends at pretty much every carrier, you could argue pennies, I don’t think any of them have a better quality of life… any! I guess that’s just my koolaid drinking perspective though, knocking down 500k+ a year doesn’t hurt either.

As have I. Never once have I “knocked down 500k+ a year.” My “friends at other carriers” definitely make more, and have a better QOL. No doubt about that. The koolaid your drinking must taste really good.

I guess, I have a hard time believing you. I do think in life, many times we create our own reality though. My guess is everything about your life is a fire.

Once again you show us how tone deaf you are. You’ve had a great ride indeed. No person hired recently, or in the last few years will ever have your QOL, pay, and career progression. FreakFlyer just hasn’t come to the realization yet.

Because you ARE the angry, bitter pilot, and it comes across in spades. So does your inexperience. You sound very much like a college kid with a me-attitude. That's why.

Haha so tell me what I am angry and bitter about? That I don’t hate the company I work for, or come to work bitter & dissatisfied enough to complain non-stop…?

Your post reeks of disillusion…

No idea, kid, and don't really are. That's your problem, though you project it as much as you can, as often as you can, on others. Perhaps your diaper is just wet. Who knows?
