🙄🙄🙄… no one is leaving! And where will they go, when this economy tanks no one will be hiring! I think we slow down, struggle a little, if we struggle a little just think what AAL will do. That place is a house of cards, a Ponzi scheme.
Remember 3 mos ago I told everyone AS was going to shut the door on hiring… remember I said shortly after that everyone would stop hiring, remember the 30 laughing at that… not so funny anymore

I just have to ask, if Alaska's so great why are pilots leaving there to come to AA? Serious question, I'm no longer there, but have friends still flying at AA. They say it's still going downhill, but one told me he's flown with 3 ex ALK and one ex HA and one was an ex captain!!! I think that should red flag an automatic drug test.
That’s a red flag? 🫢

The only red flag is that some pilots are complete morons...

If you're 28 y/o, going to UA or DL would be a no-brainer. Long-term. Yeah you might just possibly get furloughed for a few years but long-term still better off.
AA comes with more uncertainty... but if you live in base, or want to, might still make sense if you're young.
The HAL merger throws a wench into the calculus. IF that goes through, and IF management can make it work, then young folks might have good prospects including wibebody ops if they stay. But we're obviously in the cone of confusion on that right now.

I think most of the folks who left, left before the merger announcement.

Alaska doesn't bet its business model on maybe...
If anyone thinks that they didn't make absolutely sure this merger is going to go through before pulling the trigger, they are crazy enough to leave for American...
