The legacies all got PBS thru the actions of BK court, I think only JB/Spirit/Frontier volunteered for it that I'm aware of.

When the training department is overwhelmed just trying to keep this leaky balloon inflated, their ambitions to transition everyone to the 737 look laughable.

Are new hires all being put into the 737 or are some still getting the bus?

Most are still getting the bus out of training.

The seniority list posted online just got updated to reflect the latest class, yesterday Feb 14th. The entire class seems to be B737. The class prior to that shows both 737/320s.

Apparently most of the new hire attrition is from the airbus and the fo side is really understaffed.

Also sounds like the next bid opens in a couple of weeks and to be effective Oct 1 or even Nov 1.

Is life at AK as bad as a lot of people make it sound like it is on APCf or is this where the relatively few disgruntled come to vent?

It's where everyone comes to vent and you can look at the other airlines forums and they have the same complaints. Over 3000 pilots at Alaska and there is about 10 people on here going back and forth complaining to each other 😆
