Reserve coverage for March SUCKS. Look out for your fellow pilots and try to P2P as much as possible.

Hahahaha…not sure what base you are in but Reserve coverage has ‘sucked’ (putting it mildly) since December in at least 2 of our Bases. However, that is the companies own doing and nothing for you to worry about………..🤔

It does suck, part of it is the Feb bid guys are still in training. Once released from OE/IOE the reserve grid will change for both seats and all bases. This problem will continue because not all the May bid folks will be done by May 1 either. They’ll be released after finishing and end up changing the reserve grid in May, June, and probably July as well.

You do understand that staffing has never been adequate here at least since I started in 2018?

It’s always been nearly impossible to trade reserve days and trade or drop trips.

This is just sort of a special hell we are in right now.

It will go later than July. There are May 1 people without a training start date.

We are JUST finishing EIL guys. Let that sink in.

If this company furloughed like they wanted we would be in real trouble. We are behind the 8 ball with training, and the attrition rate is skyrocketing. In fact I actually wonder if hiring will even cover attrition.

Most of the other airlines have PBS, and they didn't just hand the keys over to the company.

We handed the keys to the company on line bidding. Don’t think for a second that your life is better with line bidding, and would be worse with PBS.
