Yes, suggesting ANY CHANGE AT ALL to status quo will be considered a work action. That includes not doing things you used to do, such as OT/premium pick-up.
Managers will save those kinds of internet posts, and then if they observe a data anomaly they'll conflate the the two and sue the union (or use it as ammo with NMB, arbitrators, etc). It doesn't matter if the internet post actually had anything to do with an observed change, the appearance alone is enough.
Yes, this has happened before, and recently.

Yeah where did all the vacation open time go? Oh yeah don’t worry about that. But if some guy points out that working extra is whoring yourself out it’s going to ruin everything!
I didn’t even say to stop. Just pointing out what is. I see all the txts for premium and we aren’t making the news for cancellations. So I assume all of it is getting picked up.
Certainly the data around the time of my posts will show that all premium is being picked up.

For anyone considering Alaska…. (if you are comparing with other airlines)…. 3 years in, just BARELY got Christmas off by having a reserve line.
SEA based Ops are almost like flying for a different airline than any other base. If you’re a SEA based reserve, you are on the hook for ANYTHING…. Trip, reposition flight, seat sub…. Whatever. You are literally their….XXXXX. Wanna pick up a trip on your days off? Nope.Wanna fly instead of sit in a crashpad eatin Ramen? Nope. You’re hrs prior till the end of your RAP and think, “I prob safe.”…. Nope, need ya to go repo a plane from Paine.
When you CAN hold a line: Wanna trade a trip for a trip not in your base cause if you’re a commuter it doesn’t matter? Nope. Wanna trade a trip from the weekend to a weekday trip? Nope. Wanna drop a trip? Ohhh hell no. Wanna trade a redeye for a midday report time? Nope
vs say Southwest: You can drop your entire schedule in base a pick up trips all around the system.
That’s just a SMALL practical glimpse into real world QOL at Alaska. Now, if you’re “Team Alaska. Always have been. Always will be. By all means come on aboard. But, if not, why the hell would you shoot a round dial NDB approach with your career instead of a CAT III with auto land?

I’m reserve, not SEA though. I got a reserve line with last 5 days of December off and moved 4 more rsv days (Dec 23-26) elsewhere and got the last 9 days December off in a row. Pay for it with single days off earlier in the month but living in-base, I can do it. It wouldn’t work for a commuter. I have traded weekend trips for weekday trips before (if the coverage is really green/good). For Nov I had a OF line and could have outright dropped one of two trips (a 3 day or a 2 day).
That said, to your point SEA rsv is different because you can literally be used for anything (including seat support sims and late night flights). Rsv in other bases where the last flight leaves by 9-10pm, things are a bit more civil. No out of base reserve sitting (have to be careful, they may try it) and no airport standby (yuck).
A key to having any flexibility is to be quick at 9pm when schedule is officially released. By 910, you’re probably too late. When my base/seat/equip opened up 9pm Monday, literally every single day in December was green, allowing reserves to move days around to pretty much anywhere. For lineholders it’s a bit worse because of blackout days.
The other reality is every single 11 or 12 day off line still gets taken. Personally, I’d rather take my chances with an OF line or just be reserve and get 12 off. I remember a couple years ago when the Bus switched to line bidding, there was one month where SF Captains had several lines that went un-bid. No one wanted ‘em. That sends a message. I have yet to see that happen again? The bottom lines in SEA look horrendous, but they do get bid and taken.
Sec 25 needs a lot of work. The good news is the right people are negotiating for us, and I trust in their efforts and priorities/goals.

You're complaining that you got Christmas off after a staggering 3 whole years at a Major? So you worked 2 total? Am I reading this right?
