I am confident, we will loose 100+ pilots to the big 6 over the next 18 mos, that will do much more for my career then any silly actions by our union over that same period.

Keep up the VSA and giving up all that free time for premium!

Hey OTZ, do the union and the rest of us a favor if you have time. You rub elbows with all the heavy players in that “Club-100”. Send a chain email to all of them with a link to the LEC 67 voting page on the ALPA website. Tell them not to bother looking at who they are voting for but to just vote….Maybe even include Ladner and Day in that group. We just need the Anglers to see that all you Seattlites care enough to vote….Helps debunk the myth that ALPA does not represent the will of the Seattle pilots. The rest of the pilot group does not count but if they think y’all care it might help get their attention….Closes in the morning at 10am…Need to hustle brother

I already voted. I just sent out a reminder to some folks, pretty embarrassing. The union has made voting extremely easy, it takes all of a minute. Everyone should be voting rather then whining on here. Apathy is a terrible thing, it destroys almost everything it touches. The October vote turnout was abysmal.

Is low turnout in an LEC election a sign of apathy, or is it a sign that pilots don't necessarily care who wins because as a whole our pilot group is overwhelmingly united on key issues and whoever wins will be capable of doing the job? And I for one don't actually know these people running anyway, so what difference is it supposed to make to people like me? It's not like I can read a poorly written three paragraph introduction letter and all of a sudden form an opinion on how someone will or won't move this pilot group forward. But before someone asks, yes I voted anyway.

Low turnout in, say, a TA vote, would be a big red flag. This isn't that though.

Not at all….Alaska Airlines corporate uses voter response in LEC and MEC elections as a key metric in their strategy… It sets their tone…The lower the turnout the more they beat and threaten us…At least in my short 22 years

Stop this. Spirit management literally copy/pasted posts from APC for their TRO against pilots.

Yeah I’m sure everyone will stop picking up premium because I heckled OTZ about it…

I think it was more the SPAchokers website that did it, but maybe I’m misremembering it. Also, what was the end result of that TRO? Did the pilots lose anything with it?

Telling somebody to not pick up premium isn’t a work action. It’s not required to pick up premium. Telling somebody to call in sick? That’s a work action.
