Unfortunately very real.. I called to verify that it was real and let them know how ridiculous it was. It’s been a few years now but it was either Austin or Dallas.. can’t remember which

Now that new boxed water we get onboard.. THAT is a problem! lol
What, you don’t like the taste of cardboard?

Is that actual hourly pay total? Or do you take 58% of that.

Another words, is this total 4:11 when added up OR 2:26 pay which is 58% ?

Thank you
Do you have an internal email to a payroll department or perhaps a training contact or even a union representative? Might I go so far as to suggest your own contract? Why post questions like this to a public forum?

Unfortunately, it is the lazy deplorable’s, that spend the most time on here whining about nonsense. Yup, a 20hr server feels bad about my 500k job 🙄🙄🙄. Hint, all they are looking for is a descent tip. If your 1.75 bottle of water is such a big deal, take the 🧻 🧻 🧻, 💡 💡 💡, and 🔋 🔋 🔋 from the room and call it even 😂😂😂😂😂. Some people choose each and every day of their life to be unhappy. I can’t believe anyone with half a brain is concerned about any of this, it is all a bunch of half truths and nonsense.

Half truths are still better than your crystal ball lol

I mean, I suppose. Is a forum not to share info, knowledge, etc?

Weird of all the posts here, cardboard water, what waiters and waitresses think of Alaska Airline pilots, restaurant discounts, that my question about CBT pay was the straw that broke the camel's back. Carry on.

Most of the guys on here are just venting and trying to inform unsuspecting pilots about how below standard this place is. There's a few guys who feel a knee jerk need to defend the company. I think most of it is sour grapes, "There's no way a Southwest Captain makes that much!" But you're special, you spend all your time disrupting whatever discussions are going on by trying to blow smoke up everyone's A$$ with your BS inside knowledge or by trying to dismiss the poster's as malcontents who don't know how good they have it. The rest of the time you are directly undermining your union's messaging efforts. I can't wait to see what you blather about as negotiations proceed but you're going to need to sharpen up your game because its wearing pretty thin.

My point is, no one outside of AS really cares about your problems. The problems expressed on here are for the most part nonsense. We will get scope, scheduling, and pay. I hope no one will come here over the next 6 mos…. That will speed up the process. That will not happen though. If you think for one minute a server at one of our hotels feels bad for you, you are disconnected
beyond help.
Your right, depending on how hard I work the rest of this month, I will most likely end the year around 485-490k. There are over 100 captains this year that will make over 400k and 10-15ish that will be above 500k…… They are hustlers but their tearing the cover off the ball. Go ask the union…. They know the numbers.
There are no unsuspecting pilots. Everyone knows what’s going on. Our contract is bellow the industry standard. That will change. If you live in PDX,ANC, and even SEA, AS will always be near the top of your list on base alone.

So you ***** yourself out for premium. Undermining what your union is doing to try and help us?

Sounds about right.

You have made it unequivocally clear: you got yours.

Our union is not going to cave, but that will not get me a new contract. UAL, DAL, AAL, SWA, FDX, and UPS will get me a fat pay day though, based on supply and demand alone. Our union controls very little, the simple fact that the world needs pilots will drastically raise the tide. I am confident, we will loose 100+ pilots to the big 6 over the next 18 mos, that will do much more for my career then any silly actions by our union over that same period.
