Seattle Times article says:
Pina first reported the allegations to her union representative the night of June 7, two days after the alleged assault, and a day later to an Alaska human-resources official.

The lawsuit says that she spoke to ALPA the night of the incident.

Going to EK? Yes.
Think Americans are a bunch of wusses who don’t want to work? Most prevalent in Americans, but to a certain extent, impacts all cultures.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Betty Pina. May justice prevail.

I did all the research actually, you posted the side effects of Xanax ~10mg per day, straight from Merck. Problem is, the FO would absolutely know something was in her drink at that concentration.
But perhaps maybe, the captain dropped 20 0.5 mg tablets in her second glass of wine, and she only passed out for a few hours. Eventually, finding her way back to her room. Considering, that would knock me out cold for 12 hours+ at my 6'1 200lbs.
Occam's razor is she over drank on an empty stomach, probably was dehydrated with low blood sugar from flying all day. I've spent the night puking in a hotel after playing flip cup for a few hours with the crew after a long day, it happens. Normally I can drink quite a bit.

All you’ve used is anecdotal evidence of a few friends who have taken a few drugs that could have possibly been used as a date rape drug and say that because they didn’t have the side effects then it’s not possible. You then use whatever you’ve googled of the internet and say it’s not a common side effect or it’s only a side effect at the high daily dose of 10 mg/day. It just doesn’t work that way for every single person.
Even then if a drug was used who is to say it was a benzodiazepine. GHB toxicity most defiantly fits into what the woman’s statement is, and so does high quantities of alcohol. By the way Ockham’s razor is a really cool philosophical concept, but it proves nothing.

It’s not that simple. I’ve work along side toxicologist and have worked in a field that overlaps with toxicology. While my area of focus was with industrial chemicals and exposure and prevention of their hazards. I know that you can get some very weird side effects at levels well below what is normal in most people. The same thing happens with drugs. That’s because of human variability and their response to chemicals or drugs. There are alway outliers. Without an extensive toxicology report there is no way you and I can say she was or wasn’t drugged.

You don't know Alaska if you think an Alaska investigation ON ANY TOPIC is impartial. They only seek to protect Alaska and their precious image. Anyone or anything that violates that prime directive is expendable.

Show me a source for your so-called statistics. Who actually tracks rapes by airline captains upon first officers? Clearly, what was happening to her alarmed SOMEONE or they wouldn't have notified the company. That ALREADY makes the event an outlier (hopefully).

The reason I was arguing benzodiazepines, simply because it was statistically most likely, and the initial effects she described were most similar. For all I know the captain could have spent years researching, and came up with the perfect concoction of drugs to be undetectable.

I think he is referring to the fact that women who have reported be drugged and raped in most cases when a toxicological test is ran they come back clean or only with alcohol.

My thoughts and prayers go out to justice being served no matter who’s in the right and wrong. Way to crucify your fellow professional pilot before due process. You’ll fit in PERFECTLY with the Middle Eastern/Emirates mentally. I see big EK management position for you!
