You guys are unreal. A fellow PILOT makes this serious accusation and you twist it to rag on "questionable " and "crazy " females who are FAs. Pretty pathetic. You act like there aren't pilots who fit the same description.
I'm glad I don't work with "men" who are paranoid to socialize with me and my fellow crew members.

I’m not paranoid and don’t mind socializing with them but one’s got to be a good judge of character and know when to ask for the check.

I flew for a pax carrier for a couple of years until I was furloughed, and I have to admit I was not particularly comfortable with the FA aspect of it. There were all types. I can see having some paranoia about hanging out with some of them. However, I've never felt uncomfortable having a meal or a drink with a fellow crewmember. Ever. I distinctly enjoy just dealing with boxes and flying instead of pax and FA's. Even the occasional sea lion crapping and rolling in it (letting off an ungodly smell) is something I can live with.

Too long of a story to put here, but many years ago I learned to use the buddy system. I am not at risk for committing infidelity (or rape, for that matter), but in certain circumstances, a third party present or a room full of people can preclude and/or preempt a misunderstanding, or worse.

That’s not true – she’s voluntarily given her name, picture, story to the media…she’s given TV interviews. That adds tremendous credibility to her story, in my view, because she knows that’s going to bring a lot of scrutiny…she’s not hiding behind her lawyer or hiding anonymously
This is typical. You find an aggrieved client, file suit, go public and hope the other side caves and pays big $$$ and you find more clients coming out of the woodwork.
This doesn't make her a liar, nor does it mean she is a saint. Its just how these things work, and the next hammer to fall will be suits at other airlines.

Sorry, but after two decades in the airline piloting profession I feel confident that there’s a higher percentage of FA’s who fit the “crazy” description than pilots that do. COLD, HARD TRUTH.

Do you guys think you have any idea of the creeps in your ranks? With all due respect, you can't and you don't.

Why would the CA carry a rape drug with him just in case? Does he rape all kinds of females in his overnights? This was his unlucky day?? If the guy raped her why would he make the room look like a rape scene?? Wouldn’t he just tuck her into bed and say he took care of her she was so drunk? I don’t buy her story, sounds like her first time actually passing out due to being drunk. For anyone that’s had it happen, not knowing where you were, it’s very embarrassing especially when your underware is missing. But of course it never happens to distinguished career military female pilots...

Have you ever been drugged? I have TWICE, both at social functions. I had only had one or two drinks so it most definitely wasn't the alcohol.
Rape drugs are extremely common, his wife may even have a prescription for one. Xanax, Valium, etc are all date rape drugs. The problem with her story is that the symptoms she is describing, require heavy drinking with the date rape drugs. Simply taking even Flunitrazepam(roofie), will not cause her symptoms unless she is legally intoxicated. Most women who claim they were drugged and raped, when tested by police immediately after, were just drunk, and not actually drugged when raped.
