'I believe that this is an under-reported, swept-under-the-rug, not-dealt-with issue in our industry,' Pina told ABC News. 'It's not just our airline.'

Ok that’s it. This woman is agenda-driven. Are female pilots being rufied and raped all across the industry?

License: check.
Medical: check.
Headset: check.
Rufies: check. Good to go.

This is some bs.

You think pilots on probation should not meet up with their crew on a layover? Because who knows when the captain is going to drug and rape them? I think new pilots in particular will meet up with the crew when suggested. First, they don't have to buy drinks (at my company at least), and because it would seem rude not to do so. Do you advise all new hires to never meet up with their crew?

I went to catch last call with my female FO last night. Was that a bad decision on my part?
I would say there is some risk involved in that, yes.

I also have a theory. Absent any other evidence, I believe there was a third Captain on a grassy knoll outside the hotel who as a jr Virgin Captain saw an opportunity to move up the seniority list and sow discord amongst the corporation that moved his cheese through the SLI so he decided to roofie the FO.

Give me a break...
Well Mr. Stitches, show me your evidence? I will share my "evidence": No drug test results, no video tape that has become public, no other witnesses, delayed reporting of so called incident, and when it was reported it was reported to her union TWO days later, never reported to the police. Barring other evidence I really dont see how you can assume he drugged her. Use your brain man, use it. Think, you can figure this out on your own. New hire, made a big mistake getting drunk. Company investigating both pilots.....umm, #metoo news story on, Yeah, thats the ticket...Me Too. How dare he get me drunk. Wait, maybe he drugged me. Yeah, thats the ticket. The Golden Ticket.

And for those that think this type of crap doesnt happen then here you go...took me 15 seconds on Google. Google it yourself genuis and see.

The amount of victim blaming here is disgusting.

I hope none of you have a mother, sister, or daughter that is a victim of a sexual assault.

(and I'm not presuming the captain is guilty)

How can you say that you are not presuming the captain is guilty and at the same time call the FO a victim? She is the plaintiff in a civil action and AK is the defendant. She’s not even suing the CA and has not pursued a criminal charge against the CA.

You are completely oblivious if you are comparing the Duke rape case and this.

Maybe ... But I don't know the facts.

I do know we had a Untied type accused of rape awhile back. As it turned out, everybody had a good time. Later after returning home the FA felt guilty and confessed ... Sort of ... To the significant other. To protect that relationship she claimed rape. Fortunately the honest details came out in the office. Could have been different.

I try not to go out with FAs or any of the females ... I look at them as half of a B fund.

The females in the business can be a lot of fun ... Especially the stupidity of the FAs ... Cheap fun too, if everybody keeps their clothes on.
