The problem with her story is that date rape drugs are usually Bezodiazepines, (which are probably abused in this industry, since the DOT is not allowed to test for them) require a lot of heavy drinking to have the side effects she is claiming. The part of her story I don't believe is the two glasses of wine. The rest is up for debate.
Very unfortunate that she didn't go in immediately to get drug tested. I realize most people wouldn't at that point. But if this was my fo, I would have pressed for a rape kit, DNA collection, and immediate drug testing. She wouldn't have had to deal with this one alone. If you are clear thinking enough to get the evidence right away, much of this could have been avoided. But most people aren't.

Absent any other evidence, I believe they both drank way too much and she went to his room and then changed her story after they got busted by the flight attendant who turned them in. She panicked and claimed she was drugged......It took her two days to come up with her plan/story

To make her look confident and proud to stand by her statements. It makes it harder to slut shame a person when you realize they look like a respectable member of society.

Have you ever been roofied/raped? If not, then you have absolutely no room to play detective.
No reason she’d press this if she was trying to cover something up. She believes something bad happened to her and she’s ****ed the company hasn’t take care of the situation. Good for her for standing up for what is right.

Why would she have faced termination? Are you saying that you know they were drinking within the window of 10 hours? If that is so, then why wasn't the captain fired long ago for that?
There would be no reason to go public with something like this, unless one was extremely ****ed off at the company for doing nothing. That is not to avoid termination. To avoid that, you drop the case, keep quiet and let it pass. Particularly if they aren't threatening you with being fired in the first place.

I'm alleging he made a bad decision when he left his room to go drinking that night. As did she. But this thread is overwhelmingly coming down on her as a slut and gold digger. She is someone who served her country, and according to those who know her, had a distinguished record doing so. I think bad decisions were made all around, but I'm speaking to the majority on this discussion coming down on her. So yeah. Both were wrong, lets $TFU and let the courts decide.

I just want to chime in here and remind everyone that this is a public forum. Not only can the plaintiff, defendant, and their attorneys read this, so can possible judges and jurors. The Spirit debacle proved what can happen when people carelessly shoot their mouths off here. It would take very little to get people subpoenaed and I'd hate to be wrapped up in this one.
This is a very serious incident, regardless of which side you choose. We as airline professionals should be above this, and not play the court of public opinion. And most of the comments on this thread are very troubling. I have daughters her age and I hate to think of the wolf pack they face in this world on a daily basis, where a woman alleges rape and gets torn apart on the internet and slut shamed. As a veteran pilot, I feel for a Captain with a clean record who makes a bad decision and faces the end of his career or even prison. This is bad all around.
I vote the mods close this thread. It's been beat to death. Let the courts deal with it, not pseudo experts hiding behind screen names. Uphold your profession.

I also have a theory. Absent any other evidence, I believe there was a third Captain on a grassy knoll outside the hotel who as a jr Virgin Captain saw an opportunity to move up the seniority list and sow discord amongst the corporation that moved his cheese through the SLI so he decided to roofie the FO.
Give me a break...
