It is surprising that most of the junior captains will be going to MKE and not CAE.

That was a pleasant surprise for me as well.

Question. If I have a primary vacation that has dropped me below 75 hours for the month due to trip touching, and I pick up open time that same month, it still pays at 1.5 and is over and above the 75 min right? I’m 99% sure it does but wanted to be sure.

Ask our union reps.

First of all you are never dropped below 75 hours because of vacation.

Secondly to answer your question anything andded on a day off pays premium.

Thanks. Yeah I missworded it. I meant I am below 75 hours on credit / block “scheduled”. I know I am paid the 75 regardless.

Looking at the Jan bid packet, ORD has some awesome midnight finishes from IAD-ORD and some 6-day trips. I guess the MX bases couldn't have all the fun

Hub to hub flying? In a 50 seater? I thought that was scope protected by mainline.

And speaking of contracts ours limits trips to 4 days. Unless they are using the back to back trip loophole since you spend one night “at home” and it resets the TAFB limit.

Interesting...

I’ve already flown IAD-ORD. It’s ridiculous. According to a mainline JS it’s against their scope but maybe he didn’t understand it properly.

No it’s not, a small percentage of hub to hub is allowed on RJ’s.
