That I blame recruiting on for hiring such caliber pilots. But I知 sure it costs the company lots of money.

I'm not sure a pilot is in the interview sessions anymore, there's a few here that do them, and I hear they've been benched to cover the flying instead.

Are people still failing orals for not memorizing the entire IAC like it was when i was there 3 years ago? I fully agree that coming prepared to a training event should be expected of anyone but of these 50% failures, what percentage of those are for dumb stuff like that? No other carriers ask a lot of these dumb questions like awac still does. Yet the people I fly with at 9e, albeit sometimes kinda green are good qualified pilots that I知 comfortable letting them be at the controls. There needs to be standards but when you have a 50% washout rate and other places are around 10-20, and on top of that there is a staffing issue. You壇 think a memo would go out telling people like JO to cool it with their ego trips.

Anyone have any interview prep or test questions for Air Wisconsin? I'm retiring from the military shortly and am looking to apply there. Also, does anyone know if new hires are getting their new MKE domicile? Thanks!

There is not a 50% failure rate. And the washout (newhire to signed off to the line) is 81% pass. Hope this clears it up. You do not memorize the whole IAC only the memory items. You need to show working knowledge of the rest.

Interview prep? Be yourself. Know how to read an approach plate and explain precision and non precision approaches. Honestly that's your best bet. Smile. Conversate with your fellow interviewees and interview team. Have your logbook in good readable order. You'll be fine.

You want MKE? You got it!

2 or 3 pilots in my interview session a couple months ago in Chicago.

Just out of curiousity does that 81% number include people that resign prior to a checkride failure occurring?
