Bonus Contract
Fellas,
I'm having a hard time deriving what the stipulations of the bonuses. The recruitment event I went to was somewhat vague, and I didn't want to get too nosey.
Admittedly the crews were great to meet and talk with and I'm excited about the opportunity.
From what I gather the "Day One" 5k and "Training Complete" 26k bonus deals incur a two year contract. The CTP/ATP incurs a 1 year contract. Is this accurate?
What does the "1st year anniversary bonus" 10k incur? I'm having hard time finding that. It looks like the 3rd year "you're not a captain bonus" is just gradually paid out, so I would assume if you reached the date of pay, you get all of it. Correct?
Lots of regionals are throwing bonus money around - good for us new to the industry! But it's contract and certain has consequences (rightfully so, you signed the line)
Anyone have any answer? Any experiences/stories about the contracts? Are they 'confirmed' to be there a year down the road? Will that well run dry?
Finally, and maybe this is just for fun with the new EDV contract - is there a campaign to increase base salaries, roll bonuses into salaries, or anything along these lines?
