Taking a bus too and from the hotel to training everyday, not a short bus just to be clear a full size bus hahah. Just wanted to let people know here on the forums that New Hires are here in Appleton, some people drive and the bus is still full. Just saw a list for a new indoc class staring with 20 people. Two classes a month makes about 35-40 new hires a month considering everyone makes it to the line. Just thought I would drop in with this relative info.

I see you have promptly jumped over to the envoy thread and are interested in what they have to offer. This is precisely what I mean. They have the current upgrade times with proof to back it up. We here at awac are operating on the hopes that recruits will believe what the company has to say with no proof of concept. I hope it works out, truly I do, but it is hard to feel positive when we are still being sh!t on. To be clear "we" is a relative term dependant upon seniority.
When you look at the fact that:
1. AW is closing all current bases and that is sure to create a strong incentive for some current pilots to move along
2. The utilization of the current aircraft is expected to increase dramatically
3. AW is offering literally the highest combined bonus/pay of any regional
4. It appears classes are filling based on info just posted to this thread
5. CPP is about to begin
6. From what I have seen from candid former crew member discussions, my interactions with the the interview team, etc. this seems like a great company from a cultural perspective
...I think there's a strong, well educated argument to be made for this being THE regional to get hired at currently.
Of course everything in this industry is a crapshoot and you never know if you made the right decision until it's too late.

Yep just anecdotally my interview group seemed like a great, well qualified group. I interviewed at another regional the week before and was literally the only person who showed up that day.

So does AW currently have the CPP in place or will that be later this fall? If you interview now is it under the United CPP or with AW?
Also, just to be clear the only aircraft currently coming for the United side is CRJ-200s?
Thanks.
