He was the bean counter at AA that went to United. As soon as he left AA WO got captain bonous's, FO year one jumped $15 bucks an hour and a $10k with 10k per year retention. Basically as soon as he left was when the floodgates opened at AA Wo's
It isn't good for United because first thing he did there was cancel 60 737s they ordered. It should/will be good for AWAC though because he will be/is shopping RJ lift. It's certainly not a home run though, he is an axe grinder and was the tip of the spear for Envoy, PDT, and PSA's 12/4 consessions.

Could there be something newsworthy for those instructors attending? Maybe. But the meeting on its own is not indicative thats 'something' is happening. But let's see what happens.

Also Kirby didn't cancel the 737 order he deferred them. We start taking 100 737 max aircraft starting next year and those 60 deferments will be mixed in over the next couple years. They were NGs now they are Max's.
