TOWOP for March. But don't worry...it's only temporary and hiring is going to resume!! Riiiight.

Why in the world anyone continues to ignore the inevitable here is beyond me at this point.

American has made it clear to the company they have as much faith in our ability to fly as our employees do. Reduced flying to avoid a situation like they were when Republic had it's own issues. But yeah, they assure us flying will go back up. That seems doubtful unless they're willing to make their grand announcement. The ship is sinking folks. We know it. American knows it. When will management?

In one sentence good ole Bobby says they will increase pilot hiring, and in another says they are offering unpaid time off... When will the BS stop? I'm glad I got the hell out when I did, but I'm really sorry all my former colleagues have to go through this... Keep your heads up, everyone.

Im curious about what March is gonna look like. Im gonna be devastated if I dont have to work another 43 hour 6 day.

Why are they giving TOWOP if you are so short staffed? What are the details about this?

Do you realize you don't have to accept a Jr man? Tell them your fatigued and go home.

Reduction in block hours. The total departures over the last 3 months have looked something like this....9,000 to 8,000 to 7,000. See the trend here? The DCA departures are down over 50% for March.

But it's just temporary... hiring will continue. Meanwhile take advantage of the incredible opportunity off time off without pay, try out unemployment and see how great it can be!!
