Another disgusting attempt to be a parasite to the misfortunes of the good people at AWAC? You should be ashamed of yourself, but I doubt you have the ability to see that.

Sorry AWAC guys, this tool does NOT represent the majority of pilots at 9E, thankfully.

I've never had this situation before. So they put you at the top of the standby list and don't give you a seat until they start clearing nonrevs?

If you have a seat you'll keep it. I think this is a problem with last second bookings. I've never had an issue with it.

That's what I thought too. And I deadhead a lot. Not saying name is wrong. But it's my understanding if you're deadheading back to base (A3) you get a seat if there is one available and can't be bumped. If it's full you go to the top of the standby list.

Absolutely BS policy lol.

Why are so many of you opposed to the solicitation of referral bonuses?? If a guy/gal is going to:

1. Lose there job
2. Need a new job

Then why would you leave money on the table. Especially if you can pocket half of the referral bonus.

Everyone *****es about scope, contracts being breached and whip shawing by management. But good forgive the poor SOB who says "Since you are going to quit anyway and may apply where I work I will negotiate with you to give you 1/2 of a $5000 after taxes otherwise no one gets the money".

OMG how dare you offer to give me money for what I was FORCED by to do anyway.

But perhaps I don't have ability to see some higher moral plain??? Which is certainly possible.

Best of luck to all of us regional peeps. Especially you Whiskey folks right now.

Trying to make a profit off others' misfortune is pretty low in my opinion. Consider that every single pilot at AWAC knows full well about EDV, what their pay rates are, and that we get a referral bonus. It's not like they need some loser coming on their forum and poaching for a bonus or even half a bonus.

If someone from AWAC wants to come to EDV, and hit me up via PM to share the bonus, of course I would do so. It helps them, and it helps me. But I happen to think it's pretty low to come here in the AWAC thread and pretend like one cares in order to pocket some money. If WhiskeyKilo really cared, he would do the recommendation for them and give them the entire bonus. Just my 2¢.

You are just trying to collect a few bucks. I wouldn't refer anyone to my employer without knowing them personally. It's really not that hard to see the difference.

I was being genuine. Look at my post history I'm not here to screw anyone out of anything. IMHO you are the one who is flying off the handle. If the bonus gets you salty then I won't refer anyone. It's interactions like this that are not necessary in the public domain and could have been cleared up in a PM. If you feel so strongly about it I would be happy to chat face to face.
