What's your excuse at AWAC?

That doesn't really make sense, billy. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by your lack of reading comprehension skills at this point.

As for your second question, maybe everyone staying is following your example (yikes!). Today's goat could be tomorrow's winner, after all. Maybe I'll just sit at a regional for 15-20 years then get lucky with a flow to mainline. Then come back and troll the regional threads and pretend like I know everything about the industry and how to get hired at a major

Make sure you tell that to all your 15 plus year captains at AWAC.

They aren't on here trolling and preaching at the guys who are still running the race. Kind of a silly thing to do as a flow pilot. I especially don't see anyone else still playing in the regional threads after they've already moved on. Assuming that's true of course..

Just had a senior AW captain take the jumpseat while he was deadheading, leaving me at the gate. Worst part was he straight up told me he wouldn't lol. Some people are so clueless.

Appreciate all the rides I've gotten before on you guys.

We do have some pretty rotten senior guys who would do something like that. Sorry they left you behind and didn't make that CA sit in the back in his positive space seat.

Not saying the story isn't true but I think there may be some pieces left out. Most senior guys commute so I doubt he "straight up told you he wouldn't" [take the jumpseat] and then did. Also I would hope the CA operating the flight "made the walk" to check for jumpseaters as well. Maybe he also wasn't technically deadheading but already cleared for a seat in the cabin and then got bumped into the jumpseat.

How does one go from deadheading to bumped into the jumpseat? Only way I can see is by choice. Don't you have a confirmed seat? Usually a passenger would be bumped before a dh.

Maybe if you reread my post you will see that I said "maybe he technically wasn't deadheading." Also going along with where I said there are likely pieces to this story missing.
