Exactly right. This provision will not stop downgrades from happening.
What I am concerned with is the union agreeing to any kind of LOA allowing dual qualification for Captains as oppose to downgrading. They've shown once that they're willing to squander bargaining chips for small payouts with no pilot group input whatsoever.
I don't like cutting into old AWACers but it's a pretty ****ty thing to come in and preach about the grass being greener when there are some who simply cannot leave for any number of personal reasons.
I know some have genuine intentions but if someone is interested in leaving I'm sure they can reach out to you. The whole Jehovah's Witness thing...

You guys that get bent out of shape are getting the wrong idea. There are a lot of guys on the fence right now. "Should I go, should I stay". What is this entire APC forum good for if not for people to keep their ear to the streets and get up to the minute information?
If good things are happening at another party and this party is out of beer, don't get upset when we try to spread the news. It's well intended. Not meant to rub faces in shiz.

You don't need to know. You can skip my comments and keep it moving. I'm here to tell those who might want to grab an opportunity when they see one. You don't have to waste your time with rebuttals. Besides, this thread is on life support as it is with all the action going on in Appleton. Someone needs to keep it alive.
The world doesn't revolve around you.

What does the APC Forum exist for in your mind? Is it just to post about what you ate today? That's Facebook.

Apparently, it's a great place to lurk if you're unsure of your career choices and you need all the reassurance you can get.
