Trying to help is giving up the whole referral bonus. Giving someone who has to give up weeks of vacation , seniority , etc a little extra cash without trying to take something in return. Offering to split a bonus is doing is business, and that's fine , but don't wear a Santa suit and ring a bell while doing it.

No one said anything about charity either. That's putting words in someone's mouth. He never said he was doing anyone a favor/charity or anything along those lines. All he said was feel free to pm him if you're thinking about going there and split a referral bonus.

He said he was just "helping fellow pilots". I am saying he is helping himself just as much. Why call it "helping fellow pilots" if you are taking half the money for yourself?? I wonder how motivated he would be with these referrals if he got no money for himself.. Again, just call it what it is.

Sounds to me like a AWAC guy trying to help his AWAC buddies out and at the same time stealing a few gold coins from AAG and splitting it evenly.

It is dishonest to portray yourself as reaching back to help a brother in need when your primary motivation is your half of the check....

When your neighbor helps you rake your leaves. You don't cut them a check for half of minimum wage. You HELP your old coworkers by going to your new companies portal and spending 4 minutes filing out a webform so that making a hard decision can be that much easier. Offering to split the bonus is is not help, it's a business move.
