Anytime I swap aircraft or for the first flight of the day,I always take the time to wipe down the controls on my side with saniwipes.I don't care how quick the turn is or if we are running late,I still do it.This is the reason why.Thank you Billy ho.

That last paragraph from the holiday message (re: future) isn't going to do anything to deter people from leaving. Its the same line I have heard for so many years, and now it just has the same effect of the little boy who cried wolf.
I wish them luck in finding a new contract, but they better hurry the hell up and have a dang good incentive to hire people away from the five figure bonuses, flow/cpp, and fast upgrades out there. Our reputation just wont cut it anymore.

..."we are in discussions with many parties to maximize a satisfactory outcome for our future"...
Judging by this they don't have any deal done, and knowing ZW and how they negotiate they won't have anything to announce anytime soon.
Depending on what their long-term plan is, at the rate we're losing pilots we'll be down to 480 pilots come summer flying 2017. Whether or not this factors into their plans may or may not speed up contract negotiations.
Unless they decide to close up, in which case they'll have to announce retention bonuses at some point.
Happy times ahead.

AWAC is working on finalizing two deals right now. One with delta for 38 crj 200s which explains why your airline bought all the additional engines. The second is 22 175s for united. They're almost done on both. Basically just determining a system structure that is beneficial to both partners.
