Ya, we all remember that. Don't think he had a real time frame. Our POI was the one who put the 3rd quarter time frame on this. I think folks ran with it.

United owns a portion of commutair.
Delta owns endeavour.

Neither one of these have true flow. So the odds of AWAC getting flow with ual or dal are slim and none. And slim just left town. I don't know why any one would believe much less spread these rumors. If I had a dollar for every time I heard "Joe schmoe in Appleton signed an NDA". I wouldn't worry about losing my job. I'd be rich. Usually the rumor is it's the assistant chiefs who have signed NDAs. Regardless,. Some rumor always has someone signing an NDA. Nothing ever materializes. As far as a big announcement we've been hearing about for the last decade...

OUR OWN PRESIDENT AND CEO SAID THERE IS NO BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.

I still remember during the hurricane evac to CVG they threw a "pizza party". It was Totinos pizzas heated up in the microwave. AWAC has some good people but the company isn't what it used to be when Orozco was running things.

Absolute BEST CASE scenario is they pull another 2005 where they sign a CPA for another partner for a similar amount of planes. Keep in mind if they do that, bases will most likely close just like they did in 2005.

Unless you are a LCA I just don't see any reason to stay. AA actively is attempting to completely replace you guys. They look like they will successful.

I think most are trying to leave.

Looking at trend info in the industry, does a total shut down seem likely?

Seems very much likely now. Senior Pilot Group, Senior 50 Seat RJ's that nobody wants. I hope American swoops in and takes them over. Would be nice for their lifers to be able to know they can retire and have a QOL.
Looks like they are being squeezed out and I don't think the other two Legacies are interested either. Especially when they can offer better deals at the same time Cherry Picking all AWAC pilots at there other carriers.
Hard Times. Been there and done that. Good Luck and hopefully some good news soon.

There is a crap ton of guys that don't have spirit or frontier times going to 9e at the moment. I'd say the next most popular is the WOs followed by atlas and LCCs for senior first officer and low/mid time captains.
