Of course the answer to that is obvious. I'm mostly curious if this has any connection to the soon be mandated FAA mentor program. That has consequences beyond what's happening at ZW if it's in any way tied to the FAA program.

Woa lets not use logic, of course it's the company, it has nothing to do with new hires.....

Has anyone checked out what's going on over on the endeavor boards right now. I know things are bleak here, and they already have some good things going. We need to pay attention to what is going on and still fight for what is reasonable and competitive. I know everyone (mostly everyone) is preoccupied with getting out or stressing about what isn't going on here. Spend a little of that angry energy into positive change and discussion about staying strong throughout your remaining time here.

Unfortunately sounds like a slow demise of a once great regional. Shame on awac for letting this happen. Wish you guys the best.

You do realize that the only reason ANY regional exists is to pay pilots (and everyone else on property) less money, right?

There are retired captains (dual qualified) doing part 91 repo flights now...

It's in the contract. I guess it's good to keep line pilots doing revenue flights, but a bad sign for us all.

Headed to the MIA job fair. Interested to see who is manning the recruiting booth there. What could they POSSIBLY say to anyone who happens to stop by?

Stop by and show interest, and see what they have to say. I hear they are being very specific and creative with the language they are using.

I also heard the last class went from 8, to 5, to 0. Ha!

Good luck, hope you get the spot you want.

Thanks! Me too. I'll try to stop by and say hi. Still love everyone here, those guys/gals are trying to do an impossible job right now though. I suppose it still looks good on their resumes.
