Too little too late, they could fix this like everyone else has done with money, oh right......makes sense, can't do that.
Please clarify, ZW wants a mentor program for their captains or the FAA wants it just for captains?

I look forward to flying with a LCA doing a 4-day line check on me.

Please tell me nobody believes this... I'm four weeks departed and still know that this won't fly.

The more LCA they train the more people will leave. Robbing from Peter to pay Paul.

Oct has some of the least block hours system wide. Can't wait to see what late Nov and Dec look like. Then a lull until May-ish. June/July/August are brutal and always have been except for 2008 just prior to the big crash. I no longer rely on AWAC for my commute after Dec so I can stand back and eat the popcorn.

FO's, GTFO as soon as possible. Go collect your $20k-$30k bonuses and enjoy working for a place that actually has a blueprint to stay solvent while you are still working there.

American is pulling 2 banks of flying out of PHL in Jan. No more 5am bank or that 10pm. Sucks for commuters.

The FAA is working on a mandate for all airlines to have a mentor program for a bare minimum of new hires. I don't recall hearing anything about it having an option for only Captains. That's why I asked him for clarification. If he's talking about the FAA program I only see it being for new hires. If this is a faux program ZW cooked up just to justify LCAs flying with captains due to staffing then it's a new low.

I'm not sure how much more clear 'It's specifically for captains' can be. It sounds like another reason to allow LCA to cover right seat flying. Clear?

You never answered my question. Is this driven by ZW or the FAA?
