That's cute. You think cost isn't a factor at all. Delta's hired about 3000 since Jan 2014. The vast majority got pos space tickets to get to ATL. Then there's operating a full time staff dedicated to finding the right candidates and conducting the interviews. That's not cheap and the expense will only continue. To get to Delta through 9E is to essentially interview twice.
I spent a long time under your US Air, now AA management. They do not care about anything other than cost. To think otherwise is what's laughable.

Look, I get it. You're on here trying to sell the flow as the bullet-proof way to get to a legacy. Again, that's AA's current philosophy. If something tragic happens all it will take is amended deals to bring the flow to a trickle. It's not the end-all, be-all in the regional world.

I didn't say it was hurting us. Given our high load factors the last few years, there is a significant cost to blocking seats or even displacing revenue passengers to make room for the applicants. My 3000 number didn't include the people that weren't hired. So, the cost is even higher.

And it is a more defined path than any other regional. I didn't say it was the only way to Delta. But this process still isn't a given so it will attract the types that are willing to work for it.

Selling and offering to help colleagues are two different things. But I wouldn't expect you to know the difference.
