1,969 is considerably less than 3000.
It's 2016 genius

To get to Delta through 9E is to essentially interview twice.

I spent a long time under your US Air, now AA management. They do not care about anything other than cost. To think otherwise is what's laughable.
I'll agree with the cost and AA. But I still laugh about you thinking POS space travel is hurting the Largest Airline for hiring. hahahahahah We hired 700 pilots last year and next year 700-800. The cost to interview is a drop in the bucket. You don't think AA has a full time hiring staff. Remember only 40% are flows. The rest are Military and a handful of lucky regional pilots outside the flow.

I didn't say it was hurting us. Given our high load factors the last few years, there is a significant cost to blocking seats or even displacing revenue passengers to make room for the applicants. My 3000 number didn't include the people that weren't hired. So, the cost is even higher.

Look, I get it. You're on here trying to sell the flow as the bullet-proof way to get to a legacy. Again, that's AA's current philosophy. If something tragic happens all it will take is amended deals to bring the flow to a trickle. It's not the end-all, be-all in the regional world.

Sell? Go look and see where I'm trying to sell anything. If you are going to a regional the key is Upgrade time and QOL (commuting and schedules) I'm not selling a flow.
You were the one selling Endeavor Airlines with the only clear way to Delta. Durrr hahahahahah

I would hazard a guess if something tragic happens it's not just the flows that would suffer, it would be all avenues of hiring.

Selling and offering to help colleagues are two different things. But I wouldn't expect you to know the difference.

And it is a more defined path than any other regional. I didn't say it was the only way to Delta. But this process still isn't a given so it will attract the types that are willing to work for it.
