Base closures suck for everyone involved, sorry you're going to have to go through that especially any locals. I've seen 4 base closures, 2 of which displaced me so I know the feeling.

I feel pretty good getting out when I did. So now for those who are optimistic, very deeply consider they won't open a new base. That's probably the strongest probability. Also IMO, if they open Milwaukee again, all that says to me is they wanna pander to the old guys before this place shuts down. Let them save a few bucks so they can drive to work for the last few years.

This is the sign of the times. The writing is on the wall. We've lost
Over 2 dozen pilots this month and we haven't been able to replace them. This place is on fire and burning rather quickly.
Luckily my logbook is all updated and my resume is all updated. Time to put on the parachute and get ready to jump off this plane spinning out of control.
Just amazes me how those in Toon town can just sit back and watch and say there's a big announcement coming real soon.
I guess this is part one......
