I bet you won't get one ZW lifer to go sit in the right seat at PSA or Piedmont, or even a DEC for that matter for a flow that will take longer than advertised.

On the other hand, my new hire class at AWAC was mostly former Comair OG's

It is all about quality of life for them. They came to get as much of the QOL back as fast as they could.

Why would they? They'll have the time and experience to go to a LCC or a Legacy. Honestly I'm sure a PDT or PSA Captain probably wouldn't want a ZW lifer in their right seat. That would be horrible experience for both of them.

Some may want to do a little history search of AWAC, the owners in particular, the massive amounts of money earned (shall we play a game?, a guessing game on how much over the last 12 years?).
On a percentage basis no regional airline (in the last 12 years) has come close to the income earned by amount or margin.
AWAC is not closing, the vast majority of new FO's that choose AWAC will make the right choice. The vast majority of any current pilot choosing to make a lateral move will regret it.
Of course you always have exceptions, but we are talking the majority.

Nice of you to show up, MP. Show some proof of your garbage or don't say anything at all. I guess since you're up in Appleton you are privy to all the top secret dealings? If you want to ride another airline into the ground that's your business. Telling others that they will regret leaving is stupid unless you have proof to back it up. Just giving a history lesson isn't going to cut it.

Perrizo should just say nothing. Instead of going to ground schools spewing false hope.
People stay there because of the false hope that their CP gives them during ground schools......just because his career has been a train wreck, don't ruin it for a guy in his mid 20s who believes your drivel.
Why would you wanna do this to people Mike? Ahem, CVG

A leap of faith is for start up businesses that need employees to stick around so that the business has a chance to establish itself.
A leap of faith is not for an airline that has 50 years of experience...yes we have been magically saved before...but the industry is much different now. The pilot supply is very tight and there isn't as much flying to go around...now...because it's basically all been assigned.

Let's not get MP involved in a silly message board. Any pilot that had the misfortune of having to leave an airline due to closure or furlough always should be allowed some latitude, they have earned it.
Many are crying chicken little, chicken little. Always do what is best for you and your family, but base your decision on facts not hyperbole.
Everyone does know that AWAC did state last year that they were INITIALLY reducing the fleet (getting rid of the oldest aircraft), odd that there is panic now over implementation of said plan.
Ah the six amigos? Yeah that is pre 2012
last post here until after the announcement
not mp give the guy a break
