Just saw the pairing preview for November. I always look at the "Return to service" "new service" and "Suspended" service" lines.
From OCT through DEC there will be no new city pairs
Looking at the return versus suspended we will be a net -3 city pairs in October
Net -2 in November and -9 in December.
While some of this is offseason drawdown...it has to be a little emblematic that we have a problem.
We are now back to flying to ART, ERI and other fabulous fall-winter destinations.

Probably some truth in that.
During my last ground school before I left, BF came in and was talking about the merger transition, et al. The topic of the cost of painting the fleet came up. He said since it was US Air's decision to change the livery they had to pony up. The old, mostly white livery cost about $30k per CRJ2. The new AA livery was supposed to cost north of $50k each because of the God-awful tail.
