And yes, all pay is before taxes. But, you also get per diem, which is not counted in any of these. You also get $3,000 in hotels.

Per diem is meal reimbursement and not income if I can recall correctly

Exactly. I'm down to my last 3 trips here before moving on. Cannot F'n wait. Resignation will be sent to ole MP next week 👍🏻 I love how Mike always says "we just aren't to that point yet" in terms of bonuses, commuter hotels, ya know damn near every single thing every other regional airline in this country is doing. Lmao

I hope whatever WO announcement this is helps us in negotiations, but I honestly don't know if they are actually going to get a deal done (or even care). It doesn't seem to me, to be that hard to show "good faith" to the mediator during these monthly sessions.

I agree. That is why it is not counted in that total.

Republic, however, counts per diem and a bunch of other benefits as a part of their "salary". It is very misleading.

Money in your pocket is money in your pocket. Just because some is tax free and designated for a certain purpose, it still goes into your bottom line.

Per diem is there to make you whole for meals on the road, not to be considered as part of your salary. There is a big difference. I understand what you're saying but in principle I think the two should be very separate.

That's cute. I think I'll start storing stuff in the Clt crew room- a week old burrito sounds nice.

Hey, burritos smell good!

To beat a dead horse...
The small crew room in DCA is not shared among other mainline or express partners. AFAIK It is our old ready reserve room that got converted to hold 8 people instead of two when someone screwed up our access to the mainline crew room down the hall. The only thing we share with PSA (in DCA) is the same paintjob on aircraft. Sorry guys.

What do you think would happen if I walked into a Delta crew room?

So how many are going to make the lateral jump to a wo now with the new pay and bonuses. And how many are going to hold out for the impending big announcement that will be sure to please; and then when said announcement is disclosed how many will then run for the wo to get in before the rest of the awac seniority list.
