I find it at least more enjoyable than bickering about the future or lack there of. Not as stressful of a topic

You're not supposed to wear the vest, but hold it out like a matador's cape. Then, when a tug driver charges like a mad bull, you execute a Veronica maneuver and he misses. The rampers cry "Ole'!"

tl;dr from IMO, theyre rushing out another new TA but making it seem like theyre taking their time and making bigger steps from previous, or the company is bending over to the union to pass it and attract some pilots and up our costs. who knows

Quoted... .
The committee can’t predict what will happen over the next few months of negotiations, but we feel that all ARW pilots need to be mentally prepared for all eventualities. It is possible that we may achieve a TA that meets your expectations; but it is also equally likely, if not more likely, that we may not, given the Company’s lack of a business plan going forward.
At the end of the day we may get there and we may not.

The attached PDF also had a very interesting section. It compared our current contract with that of Republic's. They kept attaching Republic's numbers to their 50 seat pay scale. I thought they don't fly those anymore and that their 50 seat pay scale were below ours. I wasn't aware that heir new TA included pay raises to their 50 seat scale. I guess my question is, how could we be compared to a 70+ seat operator. The comparison highlights many of our current contract strengths in comparison. Anyways, I can see how our negotiating committee may seem hesitant to get our hopes up. After all, their efforts doesn't mean anything if the company isn't looking to exist past 2018. It's possible we may be negotiating with a new owner.
