A few more upgrades soon*.
.[/QUOTE]
Ran into our most senior FO the other day in LGA. I asked and he said he hasn't heard anything as 4 of them were awarded upgrades with the revised bid award. Looked at an FO bid packet. Doesn't indicate that any of them are entering LTR next month.
When it comes to predicting the future, nobody knows.
On a lighter note, I wish I can predict the Dawgs going 12-0.
22 days until the Kirby Smart era

I know we should all do what is best for our individual lives, but I'm looking for some opinions. What is the time line on the impending implosion or resurrection of AWAC. How long are we supposed to wait to make a jump. 2018 is around the corner, and everyday on the line here is a day of lost seniority somewhere else.

Exactly my point...
Either they're alluding to AWAC being bought out (hence the concessions of reducing pay rates for >50 seat aircraft), or won't be able to deliver on the promise of giving leaving pilots a reason to regret their decision.
A preferential interview program may stem the flow of senior pilots leaving but junior guys might as well just go to a WO for the flow.
Either way I don't think the standard AWAC routine of secrecy before business as usual for the next X years is going to cut it anymore... They need to come up with a game changer to be competitive in this market or they're going to wither and die. Too many other regionals are offering better incentives for new pilots and keeping the pilots they have.

I was in the PHL crew room recently with 4 FOs, 2 of us had resignations in and a third was about to follow. With no bonus, no flow, no new pilot contract, and nothing on the books past 2017.... What does management expect? At least people are making it clear that Wisky just isnt competing anymore.

If memory serves, you get 7 days vacation the first year and max out at 35 days after 19 years. That's stretching the truth if they are only advertising 35 days.
