I am still waiting on an update from the negotiations. I guess nothing good came from 4 days of negotiating because we haven't heard a damn thing in over a week.

Negotiations pick back up in Chicago on Monday. Nothing exciting to report on yet.

And every day that goes by with the company not bringing a better deal to the table means we lose more FO's and the whole operation continues to deteriorate.

The only scenario that makes sense is the one I have seen mentioned here a couple times: The company is planning to shrink considerably. That is the only way I could understand the company reaction to all of this, which has been to do nothing to entice people to come here. In the meantime, beg FO's to pick up open time, junior man people at 1am and again at 5am, and then have LCA's flying in the right seat. The dam is bursting and they are patching it with some Flex Seal crap they bought online.

That Attendance and Reliability email I received last week really really ****ed me off. In the last 12 months I was sick for 3 trips. A 4 day, a 3 day and a 1 day. 8 days in 12 months. Go and F off. Seriously. It seriously makes me want to call out this next trip in spite of this BS. However, I have a great crew and an awesome 30hr overnight so... but come on. I could see you sending this if I had banged out 5-6+ times. ***.

It is NOT my problem at all that you have no FOs here and can't hire anyone. It's absolutely amazing to me everytime I talk to MP and ask about *** is going on and why we aren't offering bonuses etc. he always says "we're not to that point yet". Are you joking!? Seriously? We just ran a class of TWO. The times now bud. Let's get real.

Go and look at Crew Availability and see how enormous the red bar is for FOs. So far they are barely covering it and 2 days this coming week they are negative. That is fit right now. You know there are going to be people sick etc. What a joke.

Email came out today. All I got from it was there seems to be a long and painful road ahead.

The next set of planes heading to tupelo will take care of staffing issues.

I just saw it. I guess the company is planning to stall long enough on pay rates so that they continue to lose pilots. By parking planes (aka shrinking the operation), they will be able to overcome whatever staffing issues we have.

Looks like I will be getting my apps out to go elsewhere.

We have been running classes of two to four since last fall with bigger numbers occasionally. This is nothing new to them...
