While I do agree that some official info... ANY official info... would be nice, AWAC isn't going to pull a Delta debacle again. If/when they make an announcement, it will be set in stone. I definitely think they are working on something. I definitely think AWAC will be around past 2018. How, and in what form, is what I don't know.

It is great for the CA Reserves as many of them have been languishing in that spot. For the FOs...this may hasten departures in their ranks as the anemic upgrade rate will just make other options that much more attractive.
The way they are paring down the reserves it's almost like an accounting trick to get them to the low season so maybe they don't have to upgrade at all until next year.
I hope this "Big News" at the "end of the summer" proves me wrong...but which end will it be? School Summer break end? End of Meteorological Summer? End of the Astronomical Summer?
